On 29-10-2015, transmitter was put on at 0530 Hrs for the broadcast of first transmission. At 0540 Hrs, when the signature tune was playing back, it was observed that the output audio signal from the transmitter was nil. System was checked thoroughly and found that bunch of the input audio cables of the transmitter were chewed by the mice inside the trenches. The said cables were affix by the shift staff and program normalized at 0705 Hrs.
The trenches were than closed from outer ends by laying a concrete wall to prevent the audio and other cables from further damage by the Mice, Insecticides etc.
